The Azores is a 107 foot luxury yacht that has been fitted for all your diving needs. There is a partially shaded sun deck with chaise lounges, complete wet bar, hot tub, an assortment of sitting areas and a large swim platform with fresh water showers. There is even a boutique with essential dive equipment if you forget anything at home. Delicious freshly prepared meals and snacks are provided on the Azores with the snack and drink bar open all day. All drinks on board including social serving alcohol are complimentary. You may also bring your own beverages with no corkage fee.
We are extremely excited to offer this unique land and liveaboard diving trip. Atlantis has given us a rare opportunity to relax and enjoy the first four days of our trip at their luxury Atlantis Dive Resort in Dumaguete. The largest province in Dauin- Dumaguete is located just 30 minutes from the local airport, on a long stretch of sandy beach surrounded by a lush tropical garden. Perfectly located at the epicenter of of the Dumaguete dive scene. Dauin has several underwater sanctuaries that allowed marine life to flourish and has preserved the natural beauty of this underwater paradise. For those anxious to get underwater and explore the stunning biodiversity of the pristine sanctuaries of Dauin, there are five dives a day to ensure you get the most out of your stay. You can expect to see an impressive array of marine life including the Midring blue ringed octopus, Wonderpus, Mimic octopus, Poison ocellate octopus, Ambon scorpionfish, Flamboyant cuttlefish and Bobbit worms. In between dives you can relax by the pool, beach or enjoy a spa treatment. You can also snorkel with whale sharks or take a trip to Apo Island from the resort.
After enjoying all that Atlantis Dumaguete has to offer, we head off for seven days on the Azores Luxury Liveaboard to explore the Islands of Bohol. We will be diving a different island everyday and enjoy a mid week land excursion to the Chocolate Hills and Alona Beach. We will be visiting the Islands of Sumilon, Cabilao, Balicasag, Panglao, Pamilican and Siquijor. In the crystal clear waters of Sumilon Island you will see excusitie coral gardens, drops offs, manta rays, sting rays, barracudas, sea turtles, snakes, whale sharks and hammerheads. Cabilao Island is a true paradise for divers- the drop off allows for many different kinds of sea creatures including pygmy and thorny seahorse, white and black tip reef sharks, napoleon wrasse, jack fish, barracudas and turtles. The sandy coral-lined beach at Balicasag Island is a site to behold. Jacks, mackerel, barracudas, large groupers, napoleon wrasses and snappers can be seen at this dive site. Our next stop, Panglao Island, has both dramatic walls and and beautiful reefs with turtles, eagle and manta rays, schooling barracuda and trevally, frogfish, ghost pipefish, pygmy and thorny seahorses and nudibranch. Pamilican Island has a stunning variety of hard and soft coral. You can also spot hawksbill and green turtles, dogtooth tuna, wahoo, manta and eagle rays and banded sea kraits. Siquijor Island- called Isla del Fuego or “Island of Fire” by the Spanish is considered to be a mystical island, full of witches and supernatural phenomena. Superb hard and soft corals and pristine walls along with fusiliers, nudibranch, clownfish, parrotfish, barracuda and razorfish can be seen at this dive site.
