The beauty of the Red Sea captivated the heart of world renowned explorer Jacques Cousteau. So much so he created a little underwater village and spent 30 days underwater to prove humans could live in the sea. The allure of the Red Sea still captivates divers worldwide and is a bucket-list destination.
A special route created by M/V South Moon just for our divers sails along the Northern Wreck Route and the Strait of Tiran. Encompassing famous wrecks in the northern Red Sea as well as stunning reefs. With one of the most unique marine environments and one of the world’s most important repositories of marine biodiversity; the Red Sea is home to 10 species of sharks, 300 species of coral and 800 species of fish. You can also spot dolphins, turtles, seahorses, octopus and the endangered dugong.
The highlight of the Red Sea is its world famous wrecks. As the history of Egypt dates back to 3250 BCE, the Red Sea is a haven for wreck divers keen to explore the ships left behind from ages of failed voyages. On our charter we will be diving the world famous Thistlegorm, the wrecks of Abu Nuhas and the Dunraven.
A trip to Egypt wouldn’t be complete without a visit to the Pyramids, Sphinx and Cairo museum. We have also included a Bedouin night in Sharm El Sheikh to ensure our divers experience all the highlights of Egypt’s land and sea.
Join us for an unforgettable experience of Egypt’s culture and history- wet and dry!
