Each Scuba Getaway trip is expertly led by ambassadors who not only hold professional scuba instructor certifications but also boast a wealth of travel experience. With them as your leads, divers can embark on their underwater journey with confidence, knowing they’re in the capable hands of seasoned professionals. They’re not just there to show you the ropes; they’re your buddies, ready to cheer you on every step of the way. Whether you’re a newbie or a pro, they’ve got your back (or should we say, your tank?). Having someone who knows your ability and can respond to your needs as a diver can be crucially important for some divers, and it provides a layer of service that is not generally offered in dive travel.
During a trip we may be able to offer opportunities to further your dive training such as Open Water checkout dives, Advanced Open Water certification, Rescue certification and more. Our leaders are committed to helping you achieve your diving goals while ensuring your safety and satisfaction. Beyond the bubbles, our trip leaders are the conductors of fun. They ensure that every moment of your adventure itinerary flows smoothly, leaving you free to soak up the sun, sea, and smiles.

Over 20 years experience as a PADI Scuba Instructor, and the owner of TSC and Scuba Getaway. Peter has been to all the top dive destinations around the world, and offers expert knowledge in all things scuba diving. As a dive buddy, he will always bring underwater entertainment.

Meghan Hill
PADI Scuba Instructor and Travel Manager at TSC. Megs is a veteran Scuba Getaway traveller, having dove in Egypt, Indonesia, Galapagos and beyond! Follow her on a dive and you’re guaranteed to spot the coolest sea creatures.

PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer, Sabs is passionate about teaching scuba and travel. As an experienced traveller, she has been to over 30+ countries around the world. You’ll be jealous of her expert level buoyancy skills underwater.

Jemma Purton
PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer and Store Manager at Toronto Scuba Centre. Jemma was born and raised in New Zealand where she did all of her training and is eager to explore the rest of the underwater world.

Matthew Clemente
Matt is an avid diver, instructor, TSC’s resident service technician, and self-proclaimed scuba geek. At home, you’ll find him diving in the St. Lawrence River and Tobermory, but his true calling is the world ocean.
